The trading house was founded in Monthélie, in 1831, under the impetus of Bernard Bichot and will experience a rapid growth during the 19th century by becoming the official supplier of the Swedish court. Albert Bichot has been in charge of the company since 1996, perpetuating the family legacy with a good dose of modernity. Today, it is the head of more than 100 hectares of vineyards, spread from north to south of Burgundy, and grouped in 6 prestigious estates. Respect for the terroir, perfect control of vinification, Albert Bichot wines are carriers of an emotion and a philosophy that make the House one of the greatest names in Burgundy.

This 2009 vintage is very rich in aromas, with notes of crushed raspberry, mulberry, Burlat cherry, violet, blond tobacco, toasted bread and cinnamon. The palate is smooth, rich and deep with a caressing texture, almost fleshy. A full and warm wine, ideal companion of stewed meats, its spicy flavors in the final give it a true nocturnal typicality.
