Takashi Murakami Limited Edition

The year 1804 marks the beginning of an era of uninterrupted commercial success for Moët & Chandon, whose reputation is now global. ‘Le Dom Pérignon’, the house’s prestigious cuvée, is certainly the most famous champagne in the world.   The House began to commercialize its cuvées from 1936 and knew an immediate world success. The characteristic bottle, in the shape of an 18th century flask, is made only in the best years. The volume of Dom Pérignon bottles produced is a jealously guarded secret by the LVMH group, now owner of the house Moët et Chandon.

Dom Pérignon collaborated with the artist Takashi Murakami to create the design of this limited edition Dom Pérignon Vintage 2015.

The 2015 vintage is distinguished by a complex aromatic profile where intense notes of cocoa and roast are mixed, balanced by the delicacy of floral aromas of linden, jasmine and peony. Enhanced with a bouquet of spices such as anise and cardamom, it also offers a fruity and vegetal freshness, with subtle touches of orange and green papaya. It is characterized by its amplitude and delicacy, offering a unique sensory experience. This cuvée, both rich and balanced, captures the essence of the exceptional terroirs from which it comes, promising a memorable tasting.
