Cuvée Florens de Castellane
Well-known in Épernay for its 66m high belfry at the end of the Avenue de Champagne, this house founded in 1895 by Viscount Florens de Castellane has been associated with the pomp of the Belle Époque and the Roaring Twenties. Its emblem is the red cross of Saint-André. The house is today in the lap of the group Laurent-Perrier.
This vintage 1988 honors the house. Giving a short majority to Chardonnay complemented by Pinot Noir, it immediately seduces with a nose of finesse, where white flowers rub citrus and toast. Balanced, ample and long, this vintage has evolved very well.
