Originally from Sérignan, Séraphin Sabon founded the estate in 1932, after marrying Marie Jausset daughter of an owner in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Subsequently, it is his eldest son, Joseph, who takes over the reins. Today, the third generation is at work: Céline, David and Thierry, Joseph’s grandchildren, run the family estate. Together, they cultivate nearly 50 hectares of vines spread over the appellations Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Lirac, Côtes-du-Rhône, as well as in PGI Pays du Gard.

This 2020 vintage reveals a beautiful deep purple ruby color. It offers a nose of ripe cherries, kirsch and white pepper. The palate is balanced, fresh, gourmet and structured by fine and controlled tannins, with aromas of raspberry, cherries, garrigue and pepper. The finish is long and captivating.
