Clos du Mont Olivet

Originally from Sérignan, Séraphin Sabon founded the estate in 1932, after marrying Marie Jausset daughter of an owner in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Subsequently, it is his eldest son, Joseph, who takes over the reins. Today, the third generation is at work: Céline, David and Thierry, Joseph’s grandchildren, run the family estate. Together, they cultivate nearly 50 hectares of vines spread over the appellations Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Lirac, Côtes-du-Rhône, as well as in PGI Pays du Gard.

The color of this 2019 vintage announces a beautiful unctuosity. The nose is expressive and offers notes of white fruits and linden. On the palate, the softness is delicately balanced with freshness. Accents of quince and pear travel tastefully through the palate. A charming white man !
