Saint Emilion Grand Cru Classé

Clos de l’Oratoire

2016

Bottle (0,75L)
Red
Dry

It was in the 13th century that the Counts von Neipperg, from the high nobility of Franconia, introduced vines to their estates. Today, custodian of some eight centuries of family winemaking tradition, Count Stephan von Neipperg manages a family heritage of four estates on the terroir of Saint-Emilion. You just have to go to one of the estates run by Stephan von Neipperg to be convinced that the rigor of an ancestral tradition can accommodate the most welcoming conviviality. From this unique breathing comes a wine subtly penetrated with the spirit of finesse that was instilled in it.

This 2016 vintage offers a sustained color, revealing a fruity and woody bouquet. Powerful, fresh and very seductive, due to its formidable concentration, associated with an impressive tannic structure, this wine requires at least ten years of aging before being able to be tasted. He is therefore ready to drink !

Robert Parker – The Wine Advocate – Clos de l’Oratoire 2016 rated 93/100.
