Château Simone – Famille Rougier

The Château Simone is one of the most sought-after wines from Aix-en-Provence, this small Palette appellation is a real gem.

Château Simone has been the property of the Rougier family since 1830. It is to Jean Rougier, oenologist that the transformation of the vineyard comes after the First World War. It is finally he who manages to obtain the designation decree for the AOC Palette. Nowadays, it is Jean-François and his wife Florence who have taken over the torch from the hands of his father René and perpetuate the oenological tradition of this great estate.

This 2018 vintage reveals a golden color that evolves in the glass minute after minute. A living wine that on the nose, dresses up with thousands of aromas that flow one after the other. Linden, honey, encaustic, floral and dry fruit typical of hazelnut. The palate is just as elegant in an architecture worthy of the greatest. Powerful and lively, the balance fat/acid and formidable.
