Château Simone – Famille Rougier

Château Simone is one of the most sought-after wines in Aix-en-Provence, this small appellation Palette is a real jewel.

The Château Simone has been owned by the Rougier family since 1830. It is to Jean Rougier, oenologist that the transformation of the vineyard after the First World War. It is finally he who manages to get the appellation decree for the AOC Palette. Today, it is Jean-François and his wife Florence who have taken over the torch from their father René and continue the oenological tradition of this great estate.

This 2015 vintage enjoys a great distinction, with subtle aromas and a bouquet of great complexity. A structured wine rich in noble tannins. It has a very good potential for ageing.
