Château Sigalas Rabaud

Like the best wines of Haut-Sauternais, Château Sigalas Rabaud is rich in liqueur, concentrated and powerful. But it is distinguished by a rare elegance sought after by a circle of loyal fans. Lambert’s family exploits this property with brilliance. Since 2013, Laure de Lambert Compeyrot has taken over the domain.

The purity and complexity of botrytis are present in this 2019 vintage. The balance is there. The aromatic nose is delicate, all in nuances, it reveals notes of white fruits and floral notes of acacia, lime, as well as very fine citrus zest. In the mouth, the attack is lively, the aromatic complexity remains, the middle is structured with a nice tension that lengthens the finish. The wine is discovered in delicacy and finesse with the typical balance of Sigalas Rabaud, without excess sugar.
