Château Ramage La Batisse

Created with 6 ha in 1962, the Château Ramage la Batisse, commanded by a chartreuse surrounded by a warren, today covers about sixty hectares, on sandy-gravelly land, which also includes the plots of Château Tourteran. Since 1986, these two properties belong to MACIF.

This 2008 vintage is superbly successful! The finesse of its aromatic palette is a clever combination of fruits, spices and notes of undergrowth. Delicate, gourmand without being opulent, it is a well-typed wine whose suitability for keeping can be glimpsed in the dark purple robe before being confirmed by the elegant and complex bouquet, then by a good quality tannic matter.
