Château Poujeaux

Within a rather discreet Médoc appellation set between the prestigious Margaux and Saint-Julien, Château Poujeaux sits at the top of its 60 hectares of vines on a ridge of gravel. A castle that crosses time with constancy and elegance and that emerges through sweet wines nicely balanced between tension, charm, energy and roundness.

This 2001 vintage reveals a wine with a deep garnet color and crossed purple reflections. From it escapes an intensely perfumed bouquet, rich in notes of violet, cassis, tobacco and flint. As for the palate, it marks us with its velvety tannins, its beautiful mineral frame, its elegance and, above all, its great persistence.
