Cru Bourgeois Supérieur

Bought in 1971 by Guy Delon, the Château Moulin de la Rose is now managed by his children, Jean-François for the technical part and Guylene for the administrative part.

A nugget among the Grands Crus Classés de Saint Julien.

The castle Moulin de la Rose which is nicknamed the «Lilliput de Saint Julien» because of its 5 hectares in the middle of the Grands Crus Classés of the appellation.

This 2003 vintage, from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, is a full-bodied, tannic wine while retaining the suppleness and finesse of the great wines of Saint Julien. Of a dense color, this wine has a very nice length in the mouth, all supported by intoxicating aromas. The final in the mouth makes us succumb to temptation.
