Château Méric

The Château Méric is an estate whose vineyard is located the most north of the Medoc, located between ocean and river. It is located north of this peninsula «La Pointe de Grave» north of Bordeaux. For 20 years the wines of Méric are worked in reasoned cultures.

This 2009 vintage is very concentrated and ready to drink. It offers the full expression of the three grape varieties Kings of the Medoc. It is sublime. Its color is brilliant with ruby reflections. Its nose is elegant, complex and racy. The bouquet expresses intense fruit notes and a strong and severe cedar wood. The mouth is smooth, balanced, round, but also offers a nice freshness. Notes of cherry, crushed blackcurrant and raspberry combine with nice touches of toasted oak. The grain in the mouth is fine, the material is silky and very concentrated. The tannins are melted, but structuring and the finish offers a nice aromatic persistence.
