The colour of this 1997 vintage is dark, deep and brilliant. On the nose, the wine exudes an intense bouquet of ripe fruit and light woody notes. On the palate, we find all the expected complexity, unctuous, gourmand, the wine is fleshy, aromatic with beautiful notes of ripe fruit and a hint of menthol. The structure is impressive, the refined and silky tannins make it a very balanced wine with a very good aging potential.
