Château Lynch Moussas

Grand Cru Classé AOC Pauillac in 1855, the Château Lynch-Moussas, acquired by Jean Castéja in 1919, has been one of the family’s jewels for a century. Passed on by Jean to his son Émile, and by him to his daughter Chantal and his son Philippe, each generation of Castéja has had the heart to respect, develop, modernize and enhance this Grand Cru d’Excellence.

From a blend of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon and 21% Merlot, this 2012 vintage is elegant and well built. It releases first aromas of red fruits before enriching itself with fine notes of menthol and a discreet smoked woody. After a smooth attack, the palate develops without asperities: round, ample, fleshy and spicy, it relies on fine tannins and a beautiful finish full of freshness.
