Château Les Charmilles

Château les Charmilles is located in the municipality of Sainte-Croix-du-Mont, 43 kilometres southeast of Bordeaux.

This 2002 vintage comes from a 90% Sémillon blend, followed by the Sauvignon for 10%. It presents a bright and intense old gold dress. The complex aromatic palette promotes the so-called “roast” aromas linked to the action of botrytis: honey, candied fruits, beeswax. The natural acidity of this wine allows it to achieve a nice balance that counterbalances the effect of the high residual sugar content. This is a vintage that will keep for more than thirty years.
