Pessac Léognan Grand Cru Classé

Château Latour Martillac

2011

Bottle (0,75L)
White
Dry

Coming from a long and unique family history, the Château Latour-Martillac has become one of the essential references in Pessac-Léognan . Chosen in 1934 to accompany the banquet of the coronation of King George VI, it has since lost nothing of its prestige thanks to its intense wines, very fruity and spicy. A reference must have!

This 2011 vintage is golden with green reflections. The intense and greedy nose emphasizes notes of white fruits and pineapple. On the palate, lemon notes and a nice acidity are present at the entrance, the long finish reveals orange zest notes.

It is a rare white wine, perfect with a subtle balance between acidity and length in the mouth, an exceptional success of the property. The majority blend of Sémillon gives a precise and chiseled wine. Potential for storage !

Robert Parker – The Wine Advocate – Château Latour Martillac 2011 rated 85/100.
