Saint Julien Grand Cru Classé

Château Lagrange

2006

Bottle (0,75L)
Red
Dry

Château Lagrange has 118 hectares planted with vines and is located in Saint-Julien, in the Bordeaux region. It was ranked 3rd Grand Cru Classé in the classification of 1855. The Japanese group Suntory, under the leadership of its chairman Keizo Saji, acquired the estate in 1983. Today a new tandem, Matthieu Bordes and Keiichi Shiina, continues the development.

This 2006 vintage has an intense garnet color. It is expressive on the nose (ripe grapes, pleasant woody). Round and friendly, the palate offers a nice amplitude, it is charming, with a touch of spice in the finish that refreshes the whole.

Robert Parker – The Wine Advocate – Château Lagrange 2006 rated 93/100
