Saint Julien Grand Cru Classé

Château Lagrange

2002

Bottle (0,75L)
Red
Dry

Château Lagrange has 118 hectares planted in vignese and is located in Saint-Julien, in the Bordeaux region. It was classified 3rd Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 classification. The Japanese group Suntory, under the leadership of its president Keizo Saji, acquired the estate in 1983. Today a new tandem, Matthieu Bordes and Keiichi Shiina, continues the development.

This 2002 vintage is made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. With a deep color, it unfolds a complex bouquet with notes of fresh marc, cocoa and vanilla. Full-bodied and sappy, the tannins are nonetheless elegant. A real pleasure wine that has gained intensity after all these years of rest in the freshness of the cellar. Powerful and complete !
