The Château La Tour de Bessan, in Margaux appellation, is one of the two Medocaine properties of Marie-Laure Lurton, renowned oenologist, with the Château de Villegeorge (Haut-Médoc appellation). Its two estates are certified «Terra Vitis», a label recognizing a work of the vine respectful of the environment, since 2003.
Second wine of the Château La Tour de Bessan, this 2017 vintage is made with the greatest respect for the terroir and the fruit. The vintage is the subject of a parcel selection following vinifications adapted to the expression of each grape variety. The length of the ageing in barrels determines the identity of the vintage.
