Beautifully located on the left bank of Bordeaux, Château La Lagune stands out among the very beautiful references of the Haut-Médoc appellation. At the head of the estate since 2004, the young and talented oenologist Caroline Frey was able to infuse this wine with all the energy, passion and determination necessary to raise Château La Lagune to the highest level.
This vintage 1983 displays a dark ruby color. The nose offers aromas of plums, roasted nuts, and black cherry. Sweet and round with an expansive flavor that reveals the richness and depth of the wine. Low acidity and silky tannins. The finish is long, crunchy and exuberant.
Robert Parker – The Wine Advocate – Château La Lagune 1983 rated 88/100.
