Saint Emilion Grand Cru

Château La Grâce Dieu

1998

Bottle (0,75L)
Red
Dry

Not commonplace in our time, to know a transmission as long with the originality that it is generated until now by women, associated with a rooting, knowledge and culture.

It all started in 1870 when Henriette Ternois, a wine-growing employee at Château Figeac, bought the first parcel of what would become the “Château La Grâce Dieu Les Menuts” and which currently has 17 hectares. She married Jean Thibeau and through the fruit of their work, the property grew over time from Lucienne, their daughter to Odile Pilotte, their great-granddaughter to Lucette Xans, their granddaughter.

This 1998 vintage has a dark garnet brick reflections. Open nose on notes of dark chocolate, roasted plums, toasted wood and nutmeg, leather tip. Soft attack, satin, tension, full, large, fine, beautiful material. Nice character on roasting and red fruit gratin. Satin finish, beautiful envelope. Nice lingering persistent on cocoa and tobacco.
