Montagne Saint Émilion

Château La Fleur Carrère

2005

Bottle (0,75L)
Red
Dry

In 1969, Maurice Carrère, former Royal Navy, succeeded his father-in-law Charles Durand on this vineyard created in the 18th century. Her daughter Isabelle Carrère, oenologist, took over in 1997. The 11.5 hectares of the family estate are divided into three appellations: Lalande-de-Porolol, Bordeaux and Montagne-Saint-Émilion.

Of a limpid purplish purple, the 2005 vintage presents a complex bouquet that mixes red fruits with a vanilla and toasted oak well melted. Ample, round and fleshy, it quickly appears dominated by an imposing tannic structure whose severity has diminished over time. He’s ready to drink !
