Prestigious vineyard classified in 1928 Premier Grand Cru Montagne, the Château La Bastienne, acquired by François Janoueix at the end of the 40s, goes back to the summits since 2000 under the aegis of his grandson Pierre-Emmanuel, driven by an extreme concern for perfectionism in the development of the product towards its highest quality.
The 2006 vintage offers a ruby color with purple reflections. First, the nose expresses itself frankly, with notes of black fruits and sweet spices. The palate is velvety, caressed by creamy tannins. Finally, this wine stretches and offers a magnificent length.
