Château Grimont

The Yung family owns several vintages on which they have been producing wines for three generations, in regional appellations and in cadillac-côtes-de-bordeaux. Château Grimont is its flagship and historic estate (25 ha acquired in 1959), located in Quinsac and which was inhabited by the writer Eugène Sue, Sissan, in Camblanes (25 ha), and Montjouan, in Bouliac (8 ha).

The 2000 vintage is close to the heart. A bright and intense cherry red color, the dress puts confidence. On the nose, the vanilla very present recalls the twelve months of barrel, but does not prevent the grape from expressing itself. The palate is in unison, both round and fresh, supported by silky tannins. A class wine, well armed for a long aging.
