Château Génot Boulanger

1999

Bottle (0,75L)
Red
Dry

The history of Domaine Génot-Boulanger began in 1974. Charles-Henri Génot and his wife Marie, née Boulanger, settled in Meursault. They acquire their first vines in Mercurey and will continue to expand their Domain. With Aude and Guillaume Lavollée, it is the fourth generation that shares its love of Burgundy wines. Together, they exploit 22 hectares distributed over the terroirs of the Côte de Beaune, the Côte de Nuits and the Côte Châlonnaise. This diversity of climates and the maturity of the vines represent a tremendous potential, in white as in red.

The 1999 vintage is a wine of great delicacy, with great depth. It is a wine that is easily delivered, which is not of a crazy complexity, but remains very pleasant. Its nose offers a nice fruity frame (black fruits). The palate brings a beautiful material, caressing and well balanced.
