Château Fourcas Hosten owes its name to the place called Fourcas, one of the most qualitative sectors of Listrac. It is now the Momméja (Hermès) family who heads the property.
Recognized as one of the great Crus Bourgeois of the Médocane peninsula, Château Fourcas-Hosten produces wines whose blend balance has always been hailed as a success.
This 2009 vintage is as expressive as it is structured, announced by a bouquet of red fruits, sweet spices and toasted bread accompanied by a hint of violet. Very well constituted and fruity, with a hint of acidity relayed in the finish by woody tannins.
