Château Ferrande

Château Ferrande is a vast 97 ha wine estate, owned by the Castel Group since 1992, established in Castres-Gironde. Founded in Bordeaux in 1949, the Castel Group has experienced considerable growth, becoming the first wine producer in France, the third in the world, with an empire stretching from Bordeaux to the African continent. In addition to its many brands, it has about twenty properties throughout the French vineyard.

This 2009 vintage is a smooth and well-structured wine that plays the seduction. Beautiful aromatic intensity, nose of roasted black fruits, plum with woody and spicy notes. On the palate a nice fruity, a touch of roundness, a just acidity. Finish on tight and satin tannins.
