Château Ferrande

Château Ferrande is a vast 97 ha wine estate, owned by the Castel Group since 1992, established in Castres-Gironde. Founded in Bordeaux in 1949, the Castel Group has experienced considerable growth, becoming the first wine producer in France, the third in the world, with an empire stretching from Bordeaux to the African continent. In addition to its many brands, it has about twenty properties throughout the French vineyard.

This 2016 vintage is a wine of distinction. Under its purple robe hides aromas of black fruits, liquorice and nuts, sprinkled with cocoa flavors. On the palate, the attack is flexible leaving a full body with melted tannins and beautiful aromas of ripe fruit. The finish of a beautiful freshness on mentholated aromas is an invitation to gourmandise.
