Château du Glana

Cru Bourgeois

The Château du Glana is located on the great wine route that runs along the Gironde estuary, between the town of Beychevelle and Saint-Julien, opposite the famous Château Ducru-Beaucaillou. The most precious care taken both in the vineyard and in winemaking contributed to the reputation of the cru which was classified “Exceptionnel Cru Bourgeois” in the 1977 list.

The 1999 vintage is elegant and deep. The nose evokes mocha, blackberry and blackcurrant. The mouth is full and with the years of aging, it stands out for the quality of its silky tannins.

Silver medal 2000 at the Concours Général Agricole de Paris.
