Château de Pibarnon

One of the references of Bandol, a racy wine, complex and delicate, with tremendous aging potential.

From a blend of 90% Mourvèdre and 10% Grenache, Château de Pibarnon is a red wine produced in the Bandol appellation in Provence. The vineyard is located up to 300 meters above sea level. The cool nights bring a slow ripening of the grapes. The soils are mostly composed of limestone, bringing minerality and freshness to the product.

The 2016 vintage was made in small quantities because of dry weather. Nevertheless, it offers a splendid balance thanks to the minerality of trace elements and mineral salts drawn from the water at depth by the vine. A pure, fresh and expressive wine.
