Château de Camensac

The Château de Camensac, is a 150 hectare vineyard located on the edge of the Saint-Julien appellation in Saint-Laurent-Médoc in Gironde. Located in the Haut-Médoc appellation, it is classified fifth grand cru in the official classification of Bordeaux wines from 1855.

This 2014 vintage is a very appealing wine for this typical and expressive Grand Cru Classé. The violet reflections of the dress testify to a promising youth. Intense, precise and elegant, combining blackcurrant and notes of breeding (vanilla and toast), the bouquet also puts confidence. Ample, full-bodied and persistent, rich in ripe material, the palate reveals a solid structure and fairly tight tannins. A wine that has a taste for mash !
