Château Croizet-Bages is a 5th Grand Cru Classé in 1855 of the Pauillac appellation. The vineyard of 30 hectares is located on the famous plateau of Bages between Château Grand Puy Lacoste and Château Lynch-Bages. It becomes in 1942 property of Paul Quié, also owner of the Castles Rauzan-Gassies and Bel Orme Tronquoy de Lalande. At the head since 1968, his son Jean-Michel Quié and his children develop with passion and know-how wines recognized for their generosity and freshness.

This 1996 vintage features a dark ruby robe. It exudes a soft and elegant nose of blackcurrant, cherry, spicy oak and cedar. Medium-bodied and endowed with supple tannins, it deploys a moderately long finish. This wine is of a beautiful depth.
