Château Coutelin-Merville is a Cru Bourgeois of Saint-Estèphe, which was classified in 1932 when the classification was created. For more than a century, it has been owned by the Estager family, originally from Corrèze since 1902. In 1987, when Guy Estager died, his children took over the farm.

The 2018 vintage is a balanced and harmonious Cru Bourgeois, with the power of Médoc wines, beautiful fruit, flexibility and aging potential ranging from 5 to 15 years depending on the vintages and your cellar. Bernard Burtschy (La Revue du vin de France) also appreciates the latest vintages, which allow everyone to understand the spirit of the estate differently.
