Château Coutelin Merville

Château Coutelin-Merville is a Cru Bourgeois of Saint-Estèphe, which was classified in 1932 when the classification was created. For more than a century, it has been owned by the Estager family, originally from Corrèze since 1902. In 1987, when Guy Estager died, his children took over the farm.

The 1998 vintage is a vintage that deserves to be in the cellar of any good connoisseur !

The hot and dry climate allowed to obtain a perfect maturity of the grapes thus conferring a multitude of expressions and nuances. It is a wine with a very high tannic power with an exceptional ability to age. The racy and elegant tannins characterize a harmonious and tasty structure.
