Château Cantemerle

Cru Classé in 1855, the Château Cantemerle extends its vineyard on plots of fine gravel bordering the estuary of the Gironde. The first traces of wine production date back to around 1350 on this estate which today belongs to the Group of Building and Public Works Mutual Insurance. The property is beautiful, both for its park and its buildings, and particularly careful in terms of viticulture.

The 2009 vintage of Château Cantemerle will be remembered for a long time in Bordeaux and the Haut-Médoc appellation. It is a very beautiful ambassador with a beautiful dark red dress, a lot of concentration and a precise and tight tannic weave. The 2009 is considered as a reference vintage that will open over time.
