Château Cadet Bon

The vineyard is nestled near the village of Saint-Emilion, facing south on a slight slope, which extends over 7 hectares including 6 planted in one piece. Château Cadet produces an authentic wine that embodies the beauty of the terroir. Thus, the Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé is the fruit of a whole year of hard work in the vineyards, followed by two years of elaboration in the cellars, in the greatest respect for nature.

This 1997 vintage is composed of Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Franc (20%). With a beautiful intensity of the bouquet that shows its variety and complexity, this wine reveals freshness and tension. It has compact tannins that form the spine and an acidic structure that holds the finish in suspense. With its temperament, it is a wine that stands out and can, rightly, compete with the Grands Crus Classés.
