Château Biston Brillette

Born in 1827, this vintage was dismembered during the crisis of the 1930s. In 1963, the brand and 5 ha of vines were bought by the Lagarde family, whose heirs, Christiane and Michel Barbarin, are still in control. The area of the vineyard is now 26.50 ha.

This 1990 vintage has an advanced ruby color, testifying to its aging. On the nose, it exudes complex aromas of ripe fruit, plum, blackcurrant, tobacco, undergrowth and spicy nuances. on the palate, this wine is harmonious and silky, with fused tannins and a beautiful structure. the flavours of compote red fruits, leather, liquorice and woody notes are delicately mixed. The finish is long and subtly evolved.
