Château Biston Brillette

Born in 1827, it was dismembered during the Great Depression. In 1963, the brand and 5 hectares of vines were bought by the Lagarde family, whose heirs, Christiane and Michel Barbarin, are still in charge. The vineyard area is now 26.50 ha.

This 1995 vintage is made from a blend of 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. It develops delicate aromas of red fruits and sweet spices to which are added subtle empyreumatic and roasting notes. On the palate, it is charming, with dense tannins and a splendid balance. Beautiful aromatic persistence in the finish on fresh menthol notes.
