It was at the end of the 19th century that Charles Gardet, a fine merchant and adventurer for his time, founded the Maison Gardet in Épernay. In the 1930s, his son, Georges Gardet, continued the family tradition by moving to Chigny-les-Roses to develop the brand. The Prieux family, who have been working in the wine and tree-growing trades for several generations, are now the happy owners.

This cuvée has a pale gold robe, enamelled with silver reflections. The nose is frank and expressive, with notes of compote fruit that evoke the tarte tatin or the caramel apricot tart with rosemary. The mouth is ample and generous, with a hint of minerality. It is a well-structured champagne that has aromas of dried fruits, very ripe yellow fruits, and even grapefruit and hazelnut.

Caution : Sold with its wooden box in perfect condition.
