Amiral de Beychevelle

L’Amiral is the second wine of Château Beychevelle, from the young vines of the estate, it benefits from the same care to the vine and if it delivers the same finesse as its elder, it differs by the potential for aging: this second wine can be appreciated much earlier, on the freshness of the fruit, even if it can also keep for about ten years.

It is a more energetic, more tumultuous, more demonstrative wine than Château Beychevelle. This 2003 vintage has a dense and bright color. On the nose, there are notes of ripe fruit. It is a gourmand wine, with coated tannins and deep tannic texture.
