The trading house was founded in Monthélie, in 1831, under the impetus of Bernard Bichot and will experience a rapid growth during the 19th century by becoming the official supplier of the Swedish court. Albert Bichot has been in charge of the company since 1996, perpetuating the family legacy with a good dose of modernity. Today, it is the head of more than 100 hectares of vineyards, spread from north to south of Burgundy, and grouped in 6 prestigious estates. Respect for the terroir, perfect control of vinification, Albert Bichot wines are carriers of an emotion and a philosophy that make the House one of the greatest names in Burgundy.

This 2009 vintage has a beautiful ruby-colored robea. The intense bouquet exhales aromas of red and black fruits (cherry, blackcurrant, blackberry, cherries) mixed with a delicate woody, evolving over time to more complex aromas (spices, undergrowth, leather). Charnu and ample on the palate, this wine has a beautiful structure that makes it perfectly balanced. Its long finish is silky and deliciously fruity.
