Domaine Clémancey

Aux Corvées

Located in the commune of Couchey, Domaine Clémancey has been a family business for several generations. It is currently the daughter Marie-Odile and her husband Thierry who took over the suite in 1996. They now exploit 8.00 ha spread over the communes of Couchey, Marsannay-la-Côte, Fixin and Gevrey-Chambertin. They produce 11 appellations and bottle between 25,000 and 30,000 collars each year.

This terroir of a little more than 1.5 ha visibly benefited from the sun of summer 2019. He offered a beautiful ample, elegant, intense and expressive Gevrey Chambertin (black jammy fruits), with racy tannins that structure the mouth without at any time disturbing the overall balance of the material. A beautiful ambassador of its appellation, dedicated to a harmonious aging.
