Wine has held a prominent place in the Brotte family for two centuries already. In 1880, Messieurs Amouroux and Clouplet were already busy in the vineyards. These two winemakers represent the 1st generation. Jean-Pierre Brotte (3rd generation) takes over the business in 1970 and develops export markets. He is one of the first in the Rhône valley to promote his wines across the Atlantic. Thanks to him, wines are today present in more than 100 countries. The year 2015 was marked by the arrival at the estate of the 5th generation. Today, three generations are cooperating in the development of the domain.

It’s hard to know where to start.

Maybe the perfume, with its floral notes, of red fruits, herbs, earth or horn of plenty of spices? Maybe the aromas, the purity of the fruit and its breathtaking range of sweet cherries and kirsch? Maybe the finale, with the elegance and refinement of silky tannins? But with wines like this, it really doesn’t matter… Pure pleasure !
