Prosper Maufoux

Prosper Maufoux is an emblematic family estate in Burgundy, located at the Château de Saint-Aubin, on the road of the Grands Crus. Founded in 1860, it has largely participated in the rise of Burgundy wines around the world, particularly in the United States. Its exceptional vineyard extends into the mythical terroirs of the Côte de Beaune, the Côte de Nuits, the Châlonnais Coast and in the Mâconnais.

Composed 100% of Chardonnay, this Rully is able to compete with the best villages of the Coast.

This 2020 vintage features a pale gold color. It reveals a nose of yellow fruits and spices. On the palate, its gourmet texture is enhanced by discreet woody notes, which bring a delicate peppery toasty. This wine pays tribute to the talent of winemakers, and highlights tasty notes of vine peaches.
