Baragane

Organic wine

Baragane 2019, from the Closerie des Moussis, it is the cuvée from a “treasure plot”. A plot of pre-phylloxeric vines from the 1850s planted, with about ten vine-stock Franc grape varieties. The roots dive deeply into sandy-loam soils, which preserve freshness. The intensity of the wine, its density, contrasts with the finesse of the tannins and the freshness. Velvet adorned with a very beautiful complexity. Black fruits, cedar, truffle. It infuses the body for a long time. Aged 16 months in barrels (not new), Baragane is promised to a very bright future.
