Naturally fresh and late because it is crossed by very cool groundwater rich in magnesium, it is a demanding terroir that deserves all the know-how of the winemaker to have vines in perfect balance.

Whatever the vintage, this Maranges 1er Cru La Fuissière is the archetype of wine for aging, deep, powerful, dark, it is designed for a long stay in the cellar.

The bouquet of this 2008 vintage is well opened with notes of black fruit and flint, the mouth. Intense, full-bodied, oily to perfection, it is built on a concentrated and ripe fruity of small red berries, which comes in contrast with an assertive structure and an uncompromising saline minerality. The fruity dominates the finish, with a persistent aromatic return. This wine is designed for prolonged storage.
