Domaine Morey-Coffinet is a young estate in Chassagne-Montrachet. It was founded in 1978 thanks to the twinning of the vineyards of the Marc Morey estate and the Fernand Coffinet estate. It is today operated by Thibault Morey. The total area of the estate is 9 hectares, including five hectares for the Chardonnay grape located on large terroirs, in Côte de Beaune, around Chassagne-Montrachet.

This 1996 vintage reveals an intense gold color with a bouquet of flint, flowers, white fruits and hazelnuts. On the palate, the wine is powerful and unctuous with a mineral tension and toasted, honey-like and fruity notes.
