Domaine Gros Frère et Soeur

Bernard Gros considerably expanded the estate by planting 12 hectares of tall vines on the hamlet of Concœur-et-Corboin (on the heights above Nuits-Saint-Georges and Vosne-Romanée), also renowned for its production of blackcurrants and other small red fruits. Among these 12 hectares, 9 are planted with pinot noir grapes and therefore allow the elaboration of very generous vintages.

In this 2013 vintage, juicy raspberries and cherries blend with complex nuances of cloves and roasted notes in a harmonious and appetizing bouquet. The palate reveals a rich and silky matter, where ripe tannins express themselves around an elegant discreet wood, evolving towards a final of noble complexity.
