Bernard Gros considerably expanded the estate by planting 12 hectares of tall vines on the hamlet of Concœur-et-Corboin (on the heights above Nuits-Saint-Georges and Vosne-Romanée), also renowned for its production of blackcurrants and other small red fruits. Among these 12 hectares, 9 are planted with pinot noir grapes and therefore allow the elaboration of very generous vintages.
This 2006 vintage has a purple color and exudes notes of black fruits with spicy touches. On the nose, it is rather dominated by notes of red berries (raspberry, gooseberry). On the palate, it develops these primary aromas with a velvety weft and a certain firmness of tannins specific to this vintage.
